Children's SLAM is our Sunday School for children Kindergarten to 6th grade.  SLAM is on Sundays during the 10 am service in the Parish Center.  We conclude with prayer at 11:15 am Thank you to all of our dedicated volunteers and parents who make our Sunday School so fantastic!

Summer 2019!

Sunday school resumes June 23rd—July 14th with Summer programs . We will not meet July 21st or 28th in order to prepare for the upcoming School year. Please join us on August 4th for our annual rally day and blessing of the backpacks celebration! Sunday school and VBS work very hard every year to raise funds for missions. They are supporting our backpack blessing drive this year as we strive to provide backpacks and supplies for kids in need. List of supplies needed are available in the Narthex if you would rather provide a monetary donation to the Backpack Blessing drive please address your envelopes to that mission.

June 10-14th we blasted off “To MARS and Beyond”  this was a fantastic experience for kids all over Lake Havasu.

Greeting Earthlings!  We have arrived back from our mission To Mars and Beyond!  We had 65 Voyagers (aka children) and 43 volunteers on our adventure.  Some of the parent feedback from the week:

“My child attends all of the VBS programs in Lake Havasu, but this one is always his favorite”

“My child asked why can’t we do this everyday all summer”

“So blessed we have a great VBS and that it is free”

“Really well organized”

“Super friendly and really welcoming”

“We picked your VBS because it is unique and different”

“My child said do I have to wait a whole other year for this?”

To Mars and Beyond

Ephesians 3:20

This year Pastor Craig led a music station which was a HIT for the children.  They quickly fell in love with the “CH” and “Be Bold, Be Strong” songs. It truly added a new dimension to our VBS this year.  Dry ice volcanoes and slime were a hit in Science, Queen Ester shared about being bold in Bible Story Time, cheeseball hands were out of this world in snacks, racing to put the weeks bible verse together during games was super fun, and in crafts they created picture frames to hold a group picture to remember their new friends.

Thank you everyone!  We appreciate your supply donations, energy, time, talents, and prayers to make this mission a success!
