Mount Olive Quilters

The quilting and sewing group meet every Thursday morning from 9:00am-Noon in the Parish Center. They cut squares that are sewn together for the size to be made, select a back and batting for each, and are tied and sewn around the outer edges.  They make baby quilts, lap robes, and a variety of other items for local Nursing Homes and the Prescott VA Hospital, and throws for Child Protective Services, twin, double, queen and king size quilts for a quilt sale the first week of December each year.  A portion of the proceeds are given to several organizations in town and the remainder is used for supplies. Come join us on Thursday mornings and enjoy the fellowship, meet new folks, and yes there is coffee with snacks at 10AM each week.
